I don't want the flattery, I just want your attention.

I don't want to wonder about you, I want to know you.
I don't want to just dream about you, I want to be there when they come true.

I don't want to hear the why's, I want to hear the why nots.
I don't want to hear excuses, I want to hear the reasons.
I don't want to be ordered, I want to be asked.

I don't want years of tears, I want decades of laughter.
I don't want promises or guarantee's, I want a lifetime of fulfillment.
I don't want the bruises, I want bumps and scrapes.

I don't want the moon, I want the stars.
I don't want the sun, I want your warmth.
I don't want the storms, I want the rain.

I don't want the l think so's, I want the truth.
I don't want the maybe's, I want honesty.
I don't want jealousy, I want your trust.

I don't want to become a possession, I want be unleased in your love.
