Im a recovering addict with 14yrs clean and 9yrs free from prison off parole for 2nd time after 3prison stents. I now give back by offering my experience strength and hope. I go back inside prisons, jails to carry a message of hope that we do recover any addict can live clean and sober find a new way of life different. I give God praise glory for saving me from myself. I participate in life today as i practice forming good habits that will become a natural part of my daily character. The greatest challenge is incorporating new thinking into my day. Im learning to unlearn to relearn things i need to know that is good and best for me and not hurt are hinder me in the right direction just for today. God bless you too....☺

Im avoiding relaspe through self-awareness and right action. Those 12 stupid things that mess up recovery.identifying tha causes of my self-destructive behaviors is one to consider. I can only be mindful to work on what affects me living life on life terms daily. We human, yet as i change i Must continue to move forward in order to progress from my old habits, ways that almost destroyed me. God 1st

Amen I too am a recovering addict and Dont have a lot of clean time in .I use this website for motivation and encourafement. Unfortunately I have burnt all my bridges and do not have a lot of support. But thank you for sharing and god bless
