Dream Big

by David Cook

Dream Big by David Cook. In watching American Idol with my children it was nice to see a great motivational song a few seasons ago. This song was a great surprise!

My hope is that my kids actually got the message of the song while we sat and watched. But in case they didn't, I wanted to include it here so that they may be able to watch it again and read the lyrics.

When I was a little boyI swore that I would change the worldwhen I grew upnothing else would be enough

I see it every dayWe settle for safeAnd lose ourselves along the way

But if we don’t Dream BigWhat’s the use in dreamingIf you don’t have faiththere’s nothing worth believingIt takes one hopeTo make the stars worth reaching forSo reach out for something more

Took a while to perfect a planfor me to finally understandthat it’s not mefaith is something you can’t see[Dream Big Lyrics on http://www.elyricsworld.com/ ]I’ve wiped my tears awaynow it’s time for a changeNo, I can’t waste another day

But if we don’t Dream BigWhat’s the use in dreamingIf you don’t have faiththere’s nothing worth believingIt takes one hopeTo make the stars worth reaching forCuz if you don’t have faithWhat’s the use in dreamingIf you don’t have faiththere’s nothing worth believingIt takes one hopeTo make the stars worth reaching forSo reach out for something more.
