“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal." -Hanah More

When you focus all of your attention onto your goal, it is like taking a floodlight and narrowing the beam to that of a laser.

When your focus drifts the beam begins to widen and is much less intense. You begin to illuminate things that are outside of your goals and they become distractions or obstacles.

Keep your goals for the day on your mind and maintain focus by repeating those goals to yourself at regular intervals. Maybe repeat them to yourself every time you see a clock, or a co-worker, or keep a list of your daily goals at your desk and repeat them each time you see the list.

Keep your focus on your goals and those frightful obstacles will never even be a part of your thought process.
