"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated." -Confucius

Many times, life gets so complicated that we no longer have time for ourselves.

When I tell my patients that they need time for exercise and relaxation, I often get the response that they have no time for that.

What we must realize is that our responsibilities to our career and family suffer when we don't take time for these things. I liken it to using an ax until it is dull and then just keep on swinging instead of taking time to sharpen the ax.

Simplify your life by trimming your schedule enough to take some "me" time each day.

Your schedule should not define you, but if you are too busy it can certainly dull you down. What can you eliminate if you really wanted to simplify and take the time to sharpen your ax?
