"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." -Anne Bradstreet

After a pretty cold winter here in Ohio, spring is ready to be sprung. The forecast has everyone excited about the possibility of warm weather.

People who live here will say that having all four seasons is a big reason they like Ohio. It really does give us an appreciation for what the spring represents. A re-birth of nature, the warm weather returning, the flowers in bloom.

But without the contrast of the winter months the spring would not be so sweet. And the colder the winter months the more excited we get when the weather finally breaks!

When life provides you with adversity, realize that it is only for a season, and probably is for a good reason.

When the season is over and you see how how much you have grown from the experience, you will feel the warm sun on your face and appreciate where you stand.

A life without lessons is no life at all. Thank God for the opportunity to live and grow...and always look forward to the next season.
